FACT CHECK: Viral Claims Rhema Feast Founder Julian Kyula and Wife Amanda Have Separated

Viral claims have circulated online that Rhema Feast founder Reverend Julian Kyula has parted ways with his wife, Pastor Amanda Kyula, after more than 15 years of marriage.

The claims allege that Amanda quietly walked away from the marriage following alleged infidelity, with changes in the couple’s public presence also cited as possible signs of a separation.

The couple is said to have been married for more than 15 years and have three sons together, Nehemiah, Noah and Nolan.

Julian founded The Purpose Centre Church in 2007 before it was later rebranded as Ruach Ministries.

He subsequently became widely known for founding Rhema Feast, a large-scale Christian gathering that attracts prominent religious leaders and thousands of worshippers.

Julian Opens Up About Rhema Feast 2026

The reports about the couple’s marriage come as Julian has also been speaking about events that preceded the 2026 edition of Rhema Feast that ended on September 4.

In a clip circulating on TikTok, the preacher revealed that a group of trusted advisers approached him about eight weeks before the five-day gathering and urged him to postpone the event.

Julian said the advice came from people whose counsel he respected, making the decision difficult for him.

He recalled asking the group who had sent them before deciding to take time to consider their advice.

“I think you are right, but let me go pray,” Julian reportedly told them.

Following the request, Julian said he requested 48 hours to pray before deciding on whether to postpone the event.

According to the preacher, he withdrew to pray and later described an experience at around 3 am that gave him confidence to proceed with the gathering.

He said he believed he received a message that if he chose not to hold Rhema Feast, the event would still take place and he would watch it happen without him.

“In essence, I believe, in all humility, he was telling me, you will watch your replacement,” Julian said.

He used the experience to caution his congregation against acting on advice, even when it comes from people with good intentions, without first seeking God’s direction.
