Unpacking Rhema Feast 2026: Inside the Five-Day Christian Gathering at Uhuru Park

Rhema Feast 2026 brought thousands of Christians to Uhuru Park in Nairobi for five days of prayer, worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship from August 31 to September 4.

The gathering centered on the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild,” drawn from Nehemiah 2:17.

Unlike a single church service, the event combined spiritual sessions with music, fellowship, and discussions on enterprise.

Organizers structured the programme around five areas: Word, Worship, Wonders, Business and Fellowship.

What Is Rhema Feast?

Rhema Feast is a non-denominational apostolic movement founded in 2015 under RUACH Assemblies, a ministry of The Purpose Centre Church founded and convened by Reverend Julian Kyula.

Over the years, the gathering has brought together Christians from different backgrounds for teaching, worship and prayer.

The 2026 edition continued that approach while expanding the programme to include enterprise and networking opportunities.

Importantly, the main Feast sessions were free and open to attendees without tickets. However, participants needed to register separately for the Business Forum, which took place on September 4 from 8 am to 1 pm.

Advance entry cost Ksh 10,000, while tickets at the door cost Ksh 15,000.

Why Was the Theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild”?

The 2026 theme came from Nehemiah 2:17, a passage in which Nehemiah calls the people to rebuild Jerusalem after its destruction.

Organizers used the message to frame the gathering around spiritual renewal, restoration and rebuilding.

Throughout the programme, prayer and biblical teaching addressed areas such as families, communities, the Church and the nation.

The organizers also used worship as a central part of the experience, bringing together ministers and gospel musicians from Kenya and other African countries.

Additionally, the theme extended into the Business Forum, where founders, investors and other business leaders discussed enterprise, governance, stewardship and building organizations that can last.

What Happened During the Five Days?

The programme featured prominent Christian ministers from Kenya and beyond.

Among them were Apostle Joshua Selman, Apostle Michael Orokpo, Apostle Grace Lubega, Bishop J.B. Masinde, Bishop Kathy Kiuna, Bishop Funke Felix-Adejumo, Pastor Poju Oyemade, David Ogbueli, Apostle Mignonne Kabera and Apostle Felix Okoh.

Music provided another major part of the gathering. International gospel ministers including Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Dr Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo featured alongside Kenyan performers, adding a worship dimension to the programme.

As the days progressed, the organizers also recorded moments of collective prayer and worship.

The official Rhema Feast journal reported that Day Two opened with prayer, including prayers covering the nation and the younger generation.

Apostle Joshua Selman became one of the major highlights as the programme approached its conclusion.

What Happened on the Final Day?

Friday’s programme brought the five-day gathering to a close with preaching, worship and a night Kesha.

The final line-up included Selman, Kyula, Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, David Ogbueli, Poju Oyemade, Grace Lubega and other ministers.

President William Ruto and First Lady Rachael Ruto attended the grand finale, where they joined thousands of worshippers. Ruto later addressed the congregation and praised the large turnout of young people.

“Bwana Yesu asifiwe! There is hope in Kenya. I am overwhelmed by what I see in the young people of our nation. You don’t know how much confidence you give to our nation when you trust God,” he said

Ruto also recounted an incident involving prayer warriors who had gone to the Office of the President.

“Yesterday somebody walked to me and said, sir, there is an invasion in the Office of the President, and later I discovered it was an invasion by prayer warriors,” he added.

Later, Ruto, Rachael Ruto, Kyula and Selman joined hands with worshippers as they sang the national anthem.

Fireworks then lit up the sky, marking the end of the official programme.

Who Attended Rhema Feast 2026?

Besides the President and First Lady, the gathering attracted senior Christian leaders, gospel artists and public figures.

The ministerial line-up included both Kenyan and international preachers, while musicians such as Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo featured during the programme.

Political figures also made appearances during the five days including Mumias East MP Peter Salasya who attended on September 3, while Embakasi East MP Babu Owino attended the final night.
