Ruto Issues Latest Update on Oburu Oginga’s Health

President William Ruto has given an update on the health of Siaya Senator and ODM leader Oburu Oginga, days after reports claiming that the veteran politician had died circulated online.

Speaking during a public rally in Siaya, Ruto said Oburu remains actively involved in political matters and conveyed greetings from the ODM leader.

“I bring you greetings from our elder, Oburu Oginga. He is currently busy handling some hospital matters, but I want to assure you that he remains our party leader. We respect him greatly, and he is fully with us,” Ruto said.

The President’s remarks come after reports of Oburu’s alleged death circulated on social media, prompting his office to issue a clarification dismissing the claims.
