The Social Health Authority (SHA) has announced shortlisted candidates for various positions and scheduled interview days and hours.

SHA advertised vacant positions on October 28th, 2025, which included;

• Assistant Director, Claims Management
• Assistant Director, Corporate Communication
• Principal Claims Management Officer

In a public notice released on December 5th, 2025, SHA said that of the applicants for the position of Assistant Director, Claims Management were 181 and only 6 were shortlisted.

Assistant Director, Corporate Communication received 171 applicants, but none were shortlisted and Principal Claims Management Officer had 339 applicants, with only 12 being shortlisted.

SHA announces vacancies

On October 28th, 2025, SHA announced vacancies and invited interested and qualified individuals to submit their applications before November 18th, 2025.

“Pursuant to Section 17 and Schedule I of the Social Health Insurance Act, Act No. 16 of 2023, the Social Health Authority (SHA) Board invited interested and qualified persons to apply for consideration for appointment to various vacant positions as advertised through the local newspapers and the SHA website on 28th October, 2025. As stated in the advertisement, all applications were to be received by 18th November 2025,” read part notice.

Shortlisted Candidates and Date of Interviews

The shortlisted candidates are invited to attend interviews at the Social Health Authority Headquarters, 10th Floor Boardroom, on dates and times specified by the Board.

Interview Day 1

On December 15th, 2025, it will be the first day of the interview, and the following members are therefore to be present and on the specified time.

What is Required on Interview Day

Shortlisted applicants should report at the venue at least thirty (30) minutes before the scheduled time.

Additionally, shortlisted applicants must bring originals of the following documents:

a) National Identity Card.

b) Academic and Professional Certificates and Transcripts.

c) VALID clearances from the following institutions:

a. Higher Education Loans Board.

b. Kenya Revenue Authority.

c. A registered Credit Reference Bureau.

d. Directorate of Criminal Investigations (Police Clearance).

e. Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (Duly stamped Self-Declaration Form/Acknowledgement by EACC).

d) Letters of recognition of qualifications from the Commission for University Education (CUE) for degrees from foreign universities.

e) Recommendation letters or certificate of good standing from the relevant professional bodies and associations (where applicable).

f) Any other supporting documents and testimonials.

Public Participation

SHA has invited members of the public to present any adverse information that links to any of the shortlisted candidates.

“Members of the public are invited to provide any adverse information relating to any of the shortlisted applicants to the Chairperson, Social Health Authority, SHA Building, 10th Floor, Nairobi, or through email to recruitment@sha.go.ke, to be received on or before 12th December 2025 by 5:00 PM,” said SHA.
