Safaricom PLC has introduced a new option under its B-Live data bundle, expanding the offering that was first launched in 2025 to give users more flexible browsing choices.
The telecommunications company added a new Browse for 180 Minutes option, allowing customers to browse for three hours at a cost of Ksh 50. The bundle provides unlimited browsing within the selected time period.
Previously, the B-Live bundle had two options: Browse for 90 Minutes, which costs Ksh 30, and allows users to browse for one hour and 30 minutes, and another option that allows users to browse for four hours and 30 minutes at Ksh 75.
Safaricom Expands B-Live Bundles with 180-Minute Browsing Option
The B-Live data bundle was introduced to provide subscribers with uninterrupted browsing for a fixed period, enabling them to access the internet without worrying about data depletion during their active session.

All Safaricom prepaid and postpaid customers are eligible for the B-Live data bundles. Customers can access the bundles through USSD codes *544#, *555#, *444#, or *200#, as well as via the mySafaricom app or the Safaricom website.
The bundles are priced based on browsing duration, including:
- Ksh 20 – B-Live for 1 Hour
- Ksh 30 – B-Live for 1.5 Hours
- Ksh 50 – B-Live for 3 Hours
Customers can check their bundle balance by dialing *544*44# or through the mySafaricom app.
Other Data Bundles Offered by the Telecommunications Company
In addition to B-Live, Safaricom offers other data bundles, including social media bundles that allow users to browse specific platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat.
For instance, TikTok-specific bundles include options such as Ksh 10 for 1GB valid for one hour, and Ksh 50 for 1.2GB valid for 24 hours.

The company also offers daily data bundles, with options such as:
- Ksh 20 – 250MB valid for 24 hours
- Ksh 50 – 1.5GB valid for 3 hours
- Ksh 15 – 500MB valid for 1 hour
- Ksh 30 – 500MB valid until midnight
- Ksh 75 – 1GB valid for 3 days
Safaricom also offers All-in-One monthly bundles, which combine voice, data, and SMS into a single package.
These plans are available at price points of Ksh 1,000, Ksh 2,000, Ksh 3,000, Ksh 5,000, and Ksh 10,000, and include free WhatsApp access after the bundle is depleted.
Customers can access these bundles through *544#, the mySafaricom app, or the Safaricom website and select the plan that best suits their needs.
