TSC Announces 170 Jobs: How to Apply

The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has advertised 170 vacancies across 10 different positions.

In an advert on March 10, TSC said interested and qualified candidates can apply for the positions.

“TSC is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 237 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010. The Commission invites applications from qualified, result-oriented, and highly motivated Kenyans to fill the positions below,” the Commission said.

TSC advertised one vacancy each for the positions of Senior Deputy Director (Human Resource Management & Development) and Senior Deputy Director (Internal Audit).

Interested candidates should be on TSC Grade 4 for both positions.

Other positions with a single opening include Deputy Director (Risk Management), Deputy Director (Human Resource Development), and Deputy Director-Internal Audit (Information Systems).

Candidates must be in TSC Grade 5.

The Commission said candidates must be in TSC Grade 5.

TSC has also advertised 132 vacancies for the position of Assistant Director, Teacher Management (Field).

Interested candidates must be in TSC Grade 6.

TSC Grade 7 Vacancies

TSC also advertised 31 vacancies in three different positions for candidates in Grade 7.

This includes 20 opportunities for Principal Officer Teacher Professional Management, 8 for Principal Officer Staffing, and 3 for Principal Officer Teacher Discipline Management.

How to Apply

Interested and qualified candidates are requested to visit the Commission’s website, www.tsc.go.ke, for the full job descriptions and specifications.

Applications must be submitted online not later than 2359 hours (East African Time) on March 23, 2026.

“Detailed Job descriptions are posted at the TSC website,” TSC said.

Message to Applicants

TSC said it is committed to affording equal employment opportunities to men and women, members of all ethnic groups, and persons with disabilities.

People with disabilities, the marginalized, and the minorities are therefore encouraged to apply.

Additionally, TSC emphasized that it does not charge any application, processing, interviewing, or any other fee at any stage of the recruitment process.

The Commission warned that it is a criminal offence to present fake certificates/documents and to include incorrect information in the application.

“Only shortlisted and successful applicants will be contacted,” TSC said.
