Maseno University Lowers Cluster Points for Select Degree Courses

Maseno University has lowered cluster points for several selected degree programs ahead of the ongoing placement cycle.

This move is expected to assist access for students who are seeking admission through the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS).

This is also to increase uptake in courses that previously attracted fewer applicants.

The courses that cluster points have been lowered are as follows.

Degree Courses

Bachelor of Science Industrial Chemistry with IT points has been lowered from 25.535 to 15.299.

Bachelor of Science Biochemistry with IT, whose cluster points have been lowered from 30.235 to 28.777.

Bachelor of Science Computer Science points have also been lowered from 38.155 to 36.264.

Bachelor of Science Marketing Management with IT lowered from 21.375 to 19.799.

Bachelor of Business Administration with IT points has been lowered from 21.375 to 19.799.

Bachelor of Science Nutrition and Dietetics with IT points have been lowered from 26.579 to 15.092.

Bachelor of Procurement and Supply Chain Management Points have been lowered from 21.375 to 19.799.

On the other hand, the Bachelor of Business Entrepreneurship with IT cluster points has also lowered from 21.375 to 19.799

Bachelor of Arts Development Studies with IT from 22.449 to 20.473

Bachelor of Science Maths and Computer Science points have been lowered from 24.314 to 18.126.

Bachelor of Arts Religion with IT cluster points has been lowered from 20.930 to 19.729.

Bachelor of Arts Fine Art with IT points have also been lowered from 20.930 to 19.729.

Bachelor of Science, Health Records and Information, points have been lowered from 26.384 to 22.591.

Bachelor of Science, Information Systems, points have been lowered from 21.375 to 19.799.

Bachelor of Arts, Language and Communication with IT, points have been lowered from 22.449 to 20.473.

Students applying for university and college placements are advised to visit the KUCCPS portal to view the courses offered, the universities and colleges offering them, and the cluster points required.
