Imperial Bank Limited has placed Nafas World Auto (K) Limited under receivership, appointing a receiver and manager to take control of the company’s operations and assets.
In a notice dated Thursday, April 23, 2026, issued under the Insolvency Act, the bank confirmed that Kamal Anantroy Bhatt of Anant Bhatt LLP was appointed as Receiver and Manager of the company on March 26, 2026.
“Notice is hereby given that Kamal Anantroy Bhatt, of Anant Bhatt LLP, was appointed as the Receiver and Manager (“The Receiver”) of Nafas World Auto (K) Limited (“the Company”) on 26th March 2026 by Imperial Bank Limited (In Liquidation) (“the Bank”),”read part of the notice.
Following the appointment, the receiver takes full control of the company’s operations, business activities, and assets.
The notice says that only the receiver and their authorised representatives can handle transactions or make decisions for the company.
“The powers of the directors in terms of dealing with the company’s business and assets no longer apply,” the notice reads.
The receiver’s mandate covers all assets and undertakings of the company, with any unauthorised dealings now considered a violation of the law and subject to legal action.

Creditors have been invited to submit their claims within 30 days from the date of the notice, while the company’s directors have been directed to provide a statement of affairs within 12 days.
The receiver will act on behalf of the company without personal liability, and all claims and queries related to the firm will be handled through his office.
