Tana River County Announces Permanent and Pensionable Job Opportunities:How to Apply

The County Assembly of Tana River, through its County Assembly Service Board (CASB), has announced multiple job vacancies for qualified Kenyans, offering permanent and pensionable terms across various professional and technical departments.

In a public notice, the Board invited applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill positions spanning procurement, legal services, ICT, research, public relations, finance, administration, and support services.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  •  Security of County Assembly premises
  • -Supervising security staff
  •  Ensuring safety of Members and staff
  •  Monitoring CCTV and alarm systems
  •  Conducting investigations
  • Liaising with security agencies
  •  Preparing reports and advising on security matters
  • Organizing drills and training

Requirements

  •  Degree in Security Studies
  • Training in Security Education (NISD) Grade 3+
  •  5 years’ experience in security management
  • Certificate of Good Conduct
  • Computer proficiency

2. Records Management Officer – CASB 10 (2 POSTS)

Basic Salary: Ksh. 44,400 – Ksh. 61,070

Duties:

  • Receiving, sorting, dispatching mail
  •  Filing and indexing documents
  •  Managing records and ensuring security

  •  Diploma in Records Management, Library Studies or related field
  • Computer proficiency
