ODM Announces Members to Attend Special Delegates Convention

The Orange Democratic Movement has announced the officials who will attend the Special Delegates Convention.

In a statement, ODM Deputy Secretary General Catherine Omanyo said the Convention will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026, in Nairobi County from 9:00 a.m.

“Please take notice that, pursuant to Articles 47 and 49, as read together with Articles 51(3) (d) and 21(1) (i) of the Orange Democratic Movement Party Constitution, a Special Delegates Convention shall be held on Friday, 27th March 2026, in Nairobi County, commencing at 9:00 a.m,” Omanyo said.

The following officials shall attend the Convention:

1. All members of the National Executive Committee

2. All members of the Party’s Parliamentary Group

3. All members of the Party’s Council of Governors & the Deputy Governors

4. All Chairpersons of the Branch Executive Committees (Mainstream)

5. All Chairpersons of County Coordinating Committees

6. All Majority/Minority Leaders of County Assemblies

7. All National Officials of the ODM Youth League

8. All National Officials of the ODM Women’s League

9. All National Officials of the ODM Disability League

10. All Members of the Party’s Standing Committees

11. One Member representing the marginalised drawn from each County

12. One person nominated by the Branch Executive Committee, where the Member of the National Assembly is an elected member of the Party

13. One woman nominated by the County Coordinating Committee elected member of the Party where the County Woman Representative is an

14. One person nominated by the County Coordinating Committee Party where the Senator is an elected member of the

15. One person nominated by the County Coordinating Committee Party, where the Governor is an elected member of the

16. Top up Delegates from branches to be determined by the National Executive Committee

ODM Special Delegates Convention Agenda

The agenda of the day shall include:

1. Prayers.

2. Notice to Convene the Meeting.

3. Adoption of the Agenda.

4. Ratification of the National Governing Council Resolution on Party Leadership.

5. Taking note of the National Executive Committee Resolution on Article 87 of the Party Constitution.

6. Speeches.

7. Address by the Party Leader
