Tensions in the Middle East have escalated even more after Iran’s elite military force threatened to pursue and kill Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu amid the ongoing war involving Israel, Iran and the United States.
The warning was issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, which said it would continue pursuing Netanyahu as hostilities between the two countries get intense.
“If this child-killing criminal is alive, we will continue to pursue and kill him with full force”, the IRGC said, according to Iranian media.
This statement comes as the conflict between Israel and Iran deepens, with both sides exchanging missile and drone strikes across the region.

Several Gulf states have also reported interceptions of drones and missiles, raising fears that the war will affect the entire region as a whole.
Iran’s threat is followed by reports of intensified Israeli operations targeting Iranian military infrastructure and nuclear-related facilities.
Israel has repeatedly accused Iran of supporting an armed group that is hostile to the Israeli state and pursuing nuclear capabilities that it says pose a security threat to the world.

Meanwhile, Israeli authorities have dismissed rumors circulating online claiming Netanyahu had been killed, insisting that the Prime Minister remains alive and continues to lead the country during the war.
The rumors were circulating claiming that the video posted by Israel about Netanyahu was AI because he appeared to have 6 fingers in the video. However, Israeli officials confirmed that Netanyahu was not killed.
With missile attacks, military operations, and diplomatic tensions continuing to rise, international observers fear the situation could destabilize the wider Middle East if efforts to de-escalate the ongoing war fail.
