“Doctors Advised Me to Keep My Genitals Fit,” Mbavu Destroyer Says After Viral Twerking Video With Women

Amateur boxer Ferdinand Omondi, also known as Mbavu Destroyer, has defended himself against criticism following a viral video filmed in Nakuru, saying the controversial moment was part of a doctor-recommended recovery process after a recent injury.

The clip, which shows women dancing around the boxer, sparked widespread debate online, with some social media users questioning his conduct in the aftermath of his recent loss at the Kasarani Indoor Arena.

“I want to make it clear that what people saw was not for enjoyment, doctors Advised Me to Keep My Genitals Fit,”  Mbavu said. “I was following medical guidance after my injury, and everything I did was based on instructions from my doctors.”

Mbavu Destroyer’s Recovery Plan: Medical Advice and Future Hopes.

The boxer said he is following medical advice for his recovery after the fight with Majembe, as prescribed.

“The doctor directed me on what to do for my recovery, and I had to follow those instructions fully,” he added.

Mbavu further revealed that he has not yet fully recovered, despite following the recommended regimen.

He noted that he has since sought additional medical consultation and was reassured that his condition will improve over time.

“Even after doing that, my condition is not back to normal,” he said. “Advisors told me not to worry, because healing takes time.”

Mbavu, however, insisted that the circulating footage lacks proper context and urged the public to avoid making conclusions based solely on short clips shared on social media.

He maintained his focus on recovery and a return to competition, despite the backlash. He stressed his commitment to regaining full fitness under medical supervision.
