Selected youths who will be participating in the next Validation Exercise on October 24, 2025, are required to undergo the NYOTA Entrepreneurship Aptitude Test (EAT), which is a crucial step in assessing their entrepreneurial potential.

The test is also used in identifying young people’s business mindset,problem-solving skills, and readiness for enterprise development under the NYOTA Project.

How to Start

First, the participants should send the word NYOTA to 40270 through SMS and respond to the given instructions.

It is important to ensure that promotional messages are activated on your SIM card to receive responses.

In case your SMS fails to deliver, dial *100*5*5*1# to activate promotional messages.

The EAT can be taken in any language of your choice, selected at the beginning of the test.

Technical Support

If your phone goes off during the process, provided that you are using the same SIM card, then you can pick up from where you left off and resume as soon as it goes back on.

Should you wish to change the phone, you can proceed with the test on a different phone with the same registered SIM card.

The test does not require any fee; that is, no airtime is required to take the test.

Most participants take an average of 15 to 30 minutes to complete a test, depending on their response speed and network conditions.

However,responses sent via SMS cannot be edited or corrected once sent so participants therefore participants are advised to take their time while responding.

It is worth noting that the EAT can only be taken once and cannot be retaken.

The test can be done on both smartphones and feature phones, making it accessible to all qualified youth.

The NYOTA Entrepreneurship Aptitude Test marks an important step toward empowerment and inclusion, where the young people have a chance to demonstrate their innovation, creativity, and willingness to engage in entrepreneurial activities.
