To participate, visit ibid.kra.go.ke and sign in using your iTax credentials or eCitizen account. You can also select “Continue without Login” to view the auction. Log in, view the available lots, and place your bid! KRA stated.

How to Access KRA Online Auction

After logging in, bidders can access the available items, view details about the lots, and proceed to place their bids.

Thereafter,  bidders are required to accept the terms and conditions before proceeding with the registration process.

They may then be required to register their payment details and generate a payment prompt for the auction registration fee.

According to KRA,  bidders should enter their M-Pesa details and proceed with the registration process.

Once registered, bidders can access the auction items from the home page and view details of the available lots, including their reserve prices.

To place a bid, a bidder selects an item and enters an amount higher than the reserve price before submitting the bid.

Bidders Can Update Their Offers

The iBid platform also allows bidders to manage their bids during the auction. Through the user profile, bidders can access options including My Messages, My Wallet, and My Bids.

Meanwhile, the Authority has urged interested members of the public to access the platform within the stipulated auction period and place their bids before the deadline.

Winning bidders will receive confirmation through the platform after the bidding process is completed.
