JSC Announces 33 Job Vacancies: How to Apply

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has announced 33 job vacancies across different departments and tribunals.
In a notice issued on Friday, May 29, 2026, JSC invited qualified Kenyans to apply for various senior management and tribunal positions before the application deadline.
“The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) is a Constitutional Commission established under Article 171 of the Constitution of Kenya, 2010, to promote and facilitate the independence and accountability of the Judiciary and the efficient, effective, and transparent administration of justice.
The Commission Invites applications from qualified persons to fill the positions of,” read part of the notice.
Senior Tribunal and Management Positions Advertised by JSC
Some of the positions advertised include Chairperson of the Land Acquisition Tribunal, Chairperson of the National Civil Aviation Administrative Review Tribunal, Chairperson of the Business Premises Rent Tribunal (BPRT), and Director of Public Affairs and Corporate Communication.
The Commission also announced vacancies for several deputy director positions, including Strategy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research and Data Analytics, Organisational Productivity and Quality Assurance, Internal Audit, and Risk Management.
Additionally, JSC advertised nine positions for Ad hoc Members of the Political Parties Disputes Tribunal for advocates and another nine positions for non-advocates.

- Director, Public Affairs and Corporate Communication – 1 Post
- Deputy Director, Strategy, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation – 1 Post
- Deputy Director, Research and Data Analytics – 1 Post

Applications must reach the Commission no later than Thursday, June 12, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
JSC warned that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and noted that canvassing in any form will lead to automatic disqualification.
The Commission also stressed that its recruitment process is free of charge.
