KRA Announces Temporary eTIMS Online Portal Outage

In a notice to eTIMS Online Portal users, the tax authority said its technical team was working to resolve the problem and restore normal services.

“The eTIMS Online Portal is currently unavailable due to a technical issue,” KRA said.

The authority assured users that efforts were underway to restore the portal, adding that it regretted the inconvenience caused by the disruption.

“Our team is actively working to resolve the issue and restore normal service,” KRA said.

KRA thanked users for their patience and understanding as its team works to resolve the technical problem.

“We regret any inconvenience caused and thank you for your continued patience,” the authority said.

KRA eTIMS and TIMS Maintenance

The latest disruption came after KRA had announced a 20-hour scheduled maintenance of its Electronic Tax Invoice Management System (eTIMS) and Tax Invoice Management System (TIMS), temporarily interrupting access to the platforms for taxpayers and businesses.

According to a public notice issued by the authority, the maintenance began at 6 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, and ended at 2 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026.

KRA said the exercise affected all users of the two systems, which remained unavailable throughout the maintenance period.

In the notice, the authority had advised taxpayers and other stakeholders to plan their activities accordingly to minimise disruption.

“Please be advised that there will be a scheduled maintenance of eTIMS & TIMS from Wednesday 22nd July, 2026, 6 PM to Thursday 23rd July, 2026, 2 PM. We regret any inconvenience caused,” KRA said.
