The late window comes days after KUCCPS released the 2026 placement results.
The agency placed 293,869 candidates in universities and tertiary institutions.
Education CS Julius Ogamba Sozin confirmed that the 202,133 students were placed in degree courses while the remaining students were placed either in the KMTC or diploma, teachers’ training, or hospitality courses.
However, KUCCPS has declared that candidate registration time will be no waiting period, normal registration time.
Successful candidates will have immediate confirmation.
With this, the universities can admit the first-year students immediately.
The project was a KUCCPS initiative to increase access to university and provide careers aligned to student qualifications.
