Prophet Owuor Receives Prestigious Christian Award in Brazil

Prophet Owuor has been honoured with a prestigious Christian award in Brazil as the Brazil Revival 2026 mission gets underway.
The recognition, described as Personality of the Year, Christian Entrepreneur (Personalidade do Ano, Empreendedor Cristão), was conferred by the Academia Brasileira de Honrarias ao Mérito and the Ordem do Mérito Cristão.
The honour was presented to Prophet Owuor in São Paulo on September 23, 2026, following his arrival in Brazil on September 22.
Honour Conferred at Federal Senate
The Ministry of Repentance and Holiness said the honour was conferred at the Federal Senate in Brasília, the capital of Brazil. The award ceremony took place at the Senado Federal, Auditório Antônio Carlos Magalhães, following a unanimous decision made on June 17, 2026.
The honour carries the highest title given by the Academy, the Cross of Christian Merit, and recognises Prophet Owuor as a founding member of the Ordem do Mérito Cristão.
According to the citation, the recognition honours his contribution to “the proclamation of the doctrine in defence of the Christian faith, the strengthening of the family, and the upholding of moral and spiritual values in society.”
Prophet Owuor Message of Repentance
The honour comes as Prophet Owuor begins the Brazil Revival 2026 mission, which centres on a message of repentance and preparation for the coming of the Messiah.
The Ministry said the recognition was received as part of the work it says has been entrusted to Prophet Owuor across nations.
At the centre of the Brazil mission is “repentance and preparation for the coming of the Messiah.”
The Ministry said Brazil is being called “to turn to the LORD, and the priesthood of Brazil to take up its responsibility in preparing the Church and the nation.”
After arriving in São Paulo, Prophet Owuor was received by pastors and leaders from across Brazil.
He later addressed ministers and guests gathered in São Paulo after receiving the honour.

Pastors’ Conference Set for September 25
The Brazil Revival 2026 mission will continue with a two-day conference for pastors and ministers of the Gospel on September 25 and 26.
Prophet Owuor will address the priesthood of Brazil on the coming of the Messiah and their role in preparing the nation.The conference will focus on holiness, repentance and readiness before the LORD.

Healing Service to Close Mission
The mission will culminate in a healing service at Portuguesa Stadium in São Paulo on September 27.
According to the Ministry, the service will involve the proclamation of the Gospel and a call for people to turn to the LORD and prepare for the coming of the Messiah.
The São Paulo-Brazil Revival 2026 has brought together pastors, ministers and believers from across Brazil and beyond as the mission continues.
