Shortlisted Candidates for Parliamentary Service Commission Member Position and Interview Dates

The Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) has announced the shortlisted candidates for the position of female Non-MP Commissioner, with interviews scheduled for September 10, 2026.
The position is reserved for a woman who is not a Member of Parliament but has experience in public affairs, in line with Article 127(2)(d) of the Constitution.
PSC Announces 12 Shortlisted Candidates for Female Commissioner Position
The shortlist follows an application process that began on August 14 after the Clerk of the Senate and Secretary to the Parliamentary Service Commission declared a vacancy for the position.
Interested applicants were required to submit their applications online by 5:00 p.m. on August 28, 2026.
Following the application process, the PSC was required to consider the applications, shortlist candidates, conduct interviews, and recommend a suitable candidate to the National Assembly and the Senate.
As a result, the following are the candidates shortlisted for the position and their interview times:

Interviews to Be Held in Nairobi
The interviews will be conducted at the Mini Chamber, First Floor, County Hall Building, Parliament Road, Nairobi.

Shortlisted candidates have been directed to appear with their original national identity cards and original testimonials and/or certificates.
The PSC has also advised candidates to ensure that their original documents are returned to them before they leave the interview venue.
Additionally, members of the public have been invited to provide information regarding the suitability of any of the shortlisted candidates through memoranda on oath to serve as a member of the Parliamentary Service Commission.
They can hand-deliver their memoranda to the Office of the Clerk of the Senate/Secretary, Parliamentary Service Commission, send by post or email to the office of the Clerk of the Senate.
