Templar Field Limited, formerly known as Twiga Foods Limited, has entered administration, with Mohamed A. Mohamed of Maawiy Financial Advisory Limited appointed as the administrator effective September 2026.
The appointment comes weeks after the company was appointed administrator of another Twiga Foods subsidiary, GT Flow Limited, formerly known as Twiga Foods One Limited.
According to a notice dated September 15, Mohamed was appointed by the Board of Directors of Templar Field Limited pursuant to Section 541(2) of the Insolvency Act (Cap. 53).
“Mohamed A. Mohamed of Maawiy Financial Advisory Limited has been appointed Administrator of Templar Field Limited, formerly known as Twiga Foods Limited, by the Board of Directors effective September 2026,” read part of the notice.
Mohamed A. Mohamed Appointed Administrator
Mohamed A. Mohamed had previously taken up the same role at GT Flow Limited, where his appointment became effective on August 17, 2026.
“The appointment follows an earlier one at GT Flow Limited, another Twiga Foods subsidiary (formerly known as Twiga Foods One Limited), where Mohamed A. Under the new arrangements, the administrator has taken control of the management of the assets and affairs of both Templar Field Limited and GT Flow Limited.
The powers of the companies’ directors to deal with or transact on behalf of the businesses have ceased, except where express permission is granted by the administrator.

Mohamed said his office would continue engaging stakeholders as it works towards an outcome for creditors.
“We will continue to engage with stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome for all creditors,” he said.
Creditors who have claims against either Templar Field Limited or GT Flow Limited have been asked to submit full particulars of their claims.
They are also required to provide supporting documentation within 30 days of the September 15 notice and later be considered for inclusion in the respective companies’ rolls of creditors.
