KMTC Advertises 678 Job Vacancies: How to Apply

The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) has announced 678 job vacancies across 46 positions as the institution seeks to strengthen its workforce at its headquarters and campuses.
According to a notice dated October 6, the vacancies are spread across KMTC headquarters and its campuses, with opportunities available in teaching, healthcare, administration, ICT, communication and other support functions.
The Board of Directors said it is seeking to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary, and experienced candidates to fill the advertised positions.
“The KMTC Board of Directors seeks to recruit competent, result-oriented, knowledgeable, dynamic, visionary and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions tenable at the Kenya Medical Training College, Headquarters and its Campuses,” read part of the notice.
KMTC Advertises 678 Vacancies Across 46 Positions
The largest number of vacancies is for Lecturer II (Nursing), with 200 positions available, followed by Lecturer II (Clinical Medicine), which has 105 vacancies.

Other teaching positions include 20 vacancies for Lecturer II (Orthopedic and Trauma Medicine), 20 for Lecturer II (Community Health), 20 for Lecturer II (Health Records & Information Technology), 20 for Lecturer II (Radiography & Imaging), 15 for Lecturer II (Occupational Therapy), 15 for Lecturer II (Nutrition) and 15 for Lecturer II (Physiotherapy).
KMTC also advertised positions for Senior Lecturers, medical laboratory technologists, pharmaceutical technologists, registered nurses, registered clinical officers, radiographers, physiotherapy assistants and other health-related professionals.
On the other hand, Administrative and support positions include Assistant Director, Human Resource Management, Senior Assistant Director, ICT, Principal Legal Officer, Administrative Officer, Office Administrator, Corporate Communication Assistant, Human Resource Management Assistant, Records Management Assistant, Security Assistant, Planning Officer and Supply Chain Management Officer.

How to Apply
Interested candidates have been invited to submit their applications online through the KMTC recruitment portal http://recruit.kmtc.ac.ke/jobs before October 30, 2026. The College stated that no hard-copy applications will be accepted.
“Applicants whose background and competencies match the above specifications are invited to make their applications ONLINE through the College website http://recruit.kmtc.ac.ke/jobs. For any inquiries, please email recruitment@kmtc.ac.ke. No hard copy applications will be accepted,” KMTC stated.
The institution urged candidates to provide all the details requested in the advertisement, adding that submitting incorrect information is an offence.
KMTC further stated that academic and professional qualifications that will not have been obtained by the closing date should not be included in the applications.
Successful candidates will be required to provide several clearance documents before receiving their offer letters.

These include clearance certificates from the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), and the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB).
They will also be required to provide a valid Certificate of Good Conduct issued by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce the originals of their National Identity Cards, academic and professional certificates, and transcripts during interviews.
KMTC warned that presenting fake certificates or documents is a criminal offence, while canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
