Multimedia University of Kenya (MMU) is a Kenyan public university located about 25 kilometres south of Nairobi, short distance from Ongata Rongai town.
The University is set on a 115-hectare piece of land and it is right next to the Nairobi National Park.
The Institution dates back in 2008 when it started as part of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT).
On March 2013, MMU was fully chartered as University on its own and has other campuses in Cyberjay and Maleka (Malaysia).
The University offers Degree, Diploma, Certificate Master’s and PhD courses for various programs.
In addition, MMU consists of six schools, 15 departments and five directorates.
School of Computing and Information Technology
Under this School, MMU offers various Degree Courses which includes:
- Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science
- Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Technology
Master’s Degree Courses
This program also offers Master’s courses namely:

Fees payable for the above Bachelor’s programs are Ksh 197,934 per year for self-sponsored students and Ksh 47,000 for KUCCPS students.
