The Ministry has revealed key dates and deadlines affecting candidates sitting professional and vocational examinations administered by the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examination Board (KASNEB).
The announcement is contained in an official examination notice outlining timelines, courses, registration requirements, and payment procedures for the April 2026 examinations.
In the notice, KASNEB informs candidates and stakeholders that, “Students of KASNEB, parents, sponsors, guardians, training institutions and other stakeholders are hereby notified that the April 2026 examinations will be administered over a period of four (4) days, from Monday, 20 April 2026 to Thursday, 23 April 2026.”
The board states that the notice applies to all eligible candidates preparing for the April examination window.
The communication further clarifies that, “The specific dates and other additional information are available below,” setting out examination schedules, closing dates for registration, and instructions on accessing official materials and making payments.

According to the notice, “The examination dates for the April 2026 examinations are as follows: (a) Monday, 20 April 2026 to Thursday, 23 April.”
During this period, KASNEB will administer a wide range of qualifications including: Certificate in Accounting and Management Skills (CAMS), Accounting Technicians Diploma (ATD), Diploma in Data Management and Analytics (DDMA), Diploma in Computer Networks and Systems Administration (DCNSA), Diploma in Quality Management (DQM), Certified Public Accountants (CPA), Certified Secretaries (CS), Certified Investment and Financial Analysts (CIFA), Certified Credit Professionals (CCP), Certified Information Systems Solutions Expert (CISSE), Certified Forensic Fraud Examiner (CFFE), Certified Public Finance Manager (CPFM), Vocational Certificate Courses: (VCEI), (VCGD), (VCICS) and VCBCT, Certified Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K), Associate in Procurement and Supply of Kenya (APS-K), Certified Quality Professional (CQP), and Business Data Analytics Practical Paper (CPA) and Financial Modelling and Data Analytics Practical Paper (CIFA).
The notice also specifies that “Tuesday, 21 April 2026 and Thursday, 23 April 2026,” have been set aside for “Foreign Accountancy Qualifications (FAQ).”

KASNEB cautions candidates to observe timelines, noting that “The closing date for registration and examination entry for the April 2026 examinations will be Friday, 20 March 2026.”
Candidates are further advised that, “Candidates are advised to make early arrangements, including seeking permission from employers where applicable, to ensure that they sit for the examinations.”
On access to information, the board states that, “The qualifications brochure can be downloaded from the KASNEB website www.kasneb.or.ke or obtained from the offices of KASNEB, KASNEB counters at Huduma Centres, Kenya National Library Service (KNLS) branches countrywide, and training institutions offering KASNEB courses, free of charge.”
Regarding fees, the notice explains, “Payment through student portal,” adding that students should use “https://online.kasneb.or.ke.”
For those abroad, “Foreign-based students should pay through the KCB Dollar Account.”
KASNEB emphasizes that “NO payment shall be made through any member of staff or agent of KASNEB. Cash payments will NOT be accepted.”
