Importance of Honesty and Truthfulness in Relationships and Life
Ng’ang’a also spoke about why she finds it necessary to be truthful in relationships and life.
She noted that she dislikes lying and has no reason to do so, given her simple lifestyle.
“I do not lie because I hate lying and I try my best. I do not lie as much. I actually do not lie because I live a very simple, straight life, so there is nothing to lie about,” she confessed.
She went on to explain that her natural way of life made her who she is now and her honesty is as much a natural phenomenon as air.
“I live my life straight and have not had anything make me want to lie,” she explained.
She noted dishonesty as her biggest deal-breaker in a relationship, and that she would pack her bags and leave a person if she discovered he had been lying.
“I hate lying. I am very angry when someone lies. I hate to be lied to. Don’t lie; just say the truth,” she emphasized, adding that it did not matter if it was hurtful. “I find lying very childish, just say the truth, even if it is going to hurt me. I will get over it, lying I find very immature,” she continued.
