Kuwait has banned the recruitment of domestic workers from Kenya and 25 other countries under new labour recruitment regulations aimed at restructuring the country’s domestic labour sector. Under the new directive, Kuwait will only allow recruitment of domestic workers from countries including South Africa, Benin, Eritrea, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, India, Vietnam and Nepal.
