Simon Kabu Sets Record Straight on ‘Baby Mama’ Claims and Spa Ownership

Share

Simon Kabu, CEO of Bonfire Adventures and a Kenyan entrepreneur in the travel and tourism industry, has broken his silence over what he calls false and defamatory social media publications, linking him to spa ownership and claiming that he has a child with a certain woman.

In a detailed statement, Kabu dismissed the claims and set the record straight on both his personal and professional life.

“I wish to categorically clarify the following: I do not, and have never, owned any spa business. I do not have any such ‘baby mama’ or child as alleged,” he stated.

At the same time, he clarified his family details. He said he has three children and takes pride in his role as a father. He added that he shares the children with two mothers. However, he insisted that the circulating claims misrepresent his family life.

Clarifies Business Links

Kabu also addressed speculation linking him to various businesses. He explained that he does not own any of the businesses associated with his name. Instead, he said he only supports startups through his #KabuSoko initiative.

He emphasized that his work focuses on promotion and mentorship, not ownership.

“In the course of my work, I often visit and support startup businesses by marketing and promoting them under the #KabuSoko initiative. These businesses are not owned by me,” he stated.

Defends Integrity and Denies Wrongdoing

Furthermore, Kabu defended his reputation and professional conduct. He described himself as a law-abiding citizen who upholds integrity in all his dealings. He rejected any claims that suggest misconduct or unlawful behavior.

He also urged the public to disregard the allegations, stressing that he does not engage in or support illegal activities.

Warns Against Misuse of Name

In addition, Kabu warned against the misuse of his name and image. He said some individuals continue to use his identity for personal gain, publicity or favours.

“I strongly caution against the misuse of my name or image for personal gain, publicity, or favours of any kind. I further require that I be dissociated forthwith from any further link to the said matter,” he stated, demanding separation from circulating claims.

Confirms Ongoing Court Action

Finally, Kabu confirmed that defamation cases linked to the allegations are already before the courts. He noted that legal processes are underway and should proceed without interference. He urged the public to exercise restraint and allow the judiciary to handle the matter.

Background to the Allegations

This development comes after rape allegations made by a woman at the said spa. The claims triggered online debate and scrutiny over the business and its public associations. Kabu had previously appeared in promotional content urging customers to visit the premises, which later fuelled questions about his link to the establishment.

The spa also gained public attention after comedian Terence Creative visited the premises during one of its promotional engagements, further increasing its visibility online.
