Governor Ntutu Reshuffles Narok Cabinet as Contracts Lapse

Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu, EGH, has announced a comprehensive reshuffle of his Cabinet and the appointment of a new slate of Chief Officers.

The changes, announced during a press briefing on Friday, January 16, 2026, come as many senior officials’ three-year contracts reached their lapse, prompting a rigorous performance evaluation by the Governor’s office.

Ntutu said the changes were aimed at strengthening service delivery and enhancing political cohesion within the cosmopolitan county.

“Following the lapse of the three (3) year contracts of the Chief Officers who were appointed in 2022, it became necessary to evaluate their performance and appoint them where appropriate.,” Ntutu said on a post.

The reshuffle touches almost every major department within the Narok County Executive.

The changes made in the cabinet are as follows:

Anthony Senchura Namunkuk- Lands, Housing and Urban Development

Vivian Sereti Mpetti – Public Health and Sanitation

Johnson Saruni Sipitiek – Education, Sports, Gender, and Social Services

Robert Kipngetich Simotwo Rotich- Tourism, Wildlife and Culture

David Parsalunye Muntet – Finance, Economic Planning and Trade

Linus Yiampoi Saire Nairimo – Information Technology and E-Government

Joyce Tentemo Keshe- Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Co-operative Development

Rotich Kiplangat Johana- Water, Energy, Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change,

Josephine Chepngetich Ng’eno -Administration, Coordination of Decentralization and Disaster Management.

Changes on the Technical Wing

Invoking powers under Article 179 of the Constitution of Kenya, Governor Ntutu also overhauled the ranks of the Chief Officers.

To ensure no disruption in essential services, several officers have been designated to serve in an acting capacity alongside their substantive roles.

The following persons have been appointed to serve as Chief Officers:

Trade & Industrialization – Francis Kudate

Public Service Management – Paul Ninah Karbuali

Transport – David Cheruiyot Kabarok

Roads – Weldon Kibet Rop

Public Works – Philly Lengotit Mutai

Clinical Health Services – Jane Cheptarus Kiok

Water, Environment & Natural Resources – William Tumanka Loigero

Tourism & Wildlife Management – Samwel Leposo Ndorko

Finance & Economic Planning- Peter Ntiamput Naingisa

Education & Social Services – Peter Simon Kurraru

Cooperatives – Shadrack Olongui Sabaya
