A Kenyan by the name Sifuna Denis Masika is among the five founding members of a provisionally registered political party called Chama cha Undugu na Demokrasia (CUD).
The Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP), which is mandated to register and regulate political parties and to administer the Political Parties Fund.
In accordance with Section 5(2)(a) of the Political Parties Act, the Registrar of Political Parties is currently undertaking the process of provisional registration of the following proposed political parties.
In a notice on January 20, ORPP announced the provisional registration of three political partIes including the CUD.
The party colours are Teal, Coral, and Black, while the symbol is a guitar.
CUD’s party slogan is “Nguvu ya pamoja, demokrasia ya Ukweli”
Other founding members include: Njenga Esther Gathuiya, Olewe Paul Otieno, Oketch Brian Omondi and Macharia Tabitha Wanjiru
Party Colours: Pink, Grey and Green
Party Symbol: Mnara
Party Slogan: Jamii ya mafanikio

Party Colours: Purple, Green and White
Party Symbol: A stadium inside a circle

Details of the above-listed proposed political parties are available on the ORPP website at www.orpp.or.ke. Members of the public are invited to review the information.
Any objections to the provisional registration may be submitted in writing or in person within seven (7) days from the date of publication of this notice.
