List of 20 Illegal Student Recruitment Agencies Operating in Kenya

The government, through the Commission for University Education (CUE), has published a list of illegal student recruitment agencies operating in the country.
In a notice dated Tuesday, January 20, 2026, the Commission revealed the names of the agencies.
“The following is a list of illegal student recruitment agencies operating in Kenya,” said the Commission.

According to the Commission, some of the blacklisted institutions include Globwise Consultancy Ltd, which is based along the Eldoret–Nakuru Highway; Allure Education Consultants, also located along the Eldoret–Nakuru Highway; and Galtron Consulting Limited in Nairobi.

Public Urged to Report Suspicious Institutions
Additionally, CUE encouraged the public to report any suspicious institutions to the Commission Secretary/CEO via email at cs@cue.or.ke or through their customer feedback portal. All reports will be handled with strict confidentiality.

“The public is requested to report any suspicious institutions to the Commission Secretary/Chief Executive Officer, Commission for University Education, P.O. Box 54999-00200, Nairobi, or via email at cs@cue.or.ke, or through the customer feedback portal,” the Commission stated
