President William Ruto has announced that the government is developing a framework to pay for school fees and provide uniforms for students across the country.

Speaking in Malindi town in Kilifi county following the disbursement of NYOTA funds, the President issued a direct directive to school heads, insisting that no student should be turned away from the classroom due to financial constraints.

“I want to state clearly to all teachers and school managers: No child should be sent home because they lack a uniform or have not paid school fees. We are currently finalizing a framework to provide those uniforms and cover their tuition. Our priority is simple: let the children study.” President Ruto said.

The president insisted that the government is ensuring that their greatest empowerment is to ensure all the students acquire education services.
