City Lawyer Accuses Nelson Amenya of Gold Scam

Share

Entrepreneur Nelson Amenya has been accused by a city attorney of misleading a foreign investor in a gold business deal.

The allegations raise questions about Amenya’s financial dealings and credibility.

In a series of posts on X, the lawyer, Evance Ndong, using the handle @Ndonglaw043, urged Amenya to “come clean on the Australian who wanted to do a gold business, and you acted as a liaison officer only for Ksh 7 million to disappear.”

The lawyer also challenged Amenya’s financial transparency, adding, “You know where you got the Ksh 9 million for the HEC Paris studies; we have the receipts. You have portrayed yourself as a saint on this platform while openly spreading malice, even though you know the scamming ordeal you put foreigners through—deny this if you can.”

Allegations of Mismanagement

According to Ndong, investigations are ongoing into Amenya’s role in the gold deal, particularly concerning the Ksh 7 million reportedly lost by an Australian national who was hosted at Amenya’s Ruaka residence.

“Investigations should be done on @amenya_nelson & how the Australian he hosted at his house in Ruaka lost his Kshs 7 Million Shillings on a Gold deal before he flew to France? We have it all kwa ‘kalatas’. If we are quiet asifikirie sisi ni wajinga,” the lawyer wrote.

The messages imply a greater pattern of accusations of financial wrongdoing against Amenya.

There are accusations that he has provided incorrect information to investors and has used social media to demonstrate that he is a trustworthy person while taking advantage of individuals from other countries for his benefit.

Amenya’s Comment

Nelson Amenya’s response was made in the form of a single post: “You know liars will go to hell, right?”

While this post is not long in and of itself, he is familiar with the situation, but does not disprove or provide an explanation for the allegations.

Users on social media sites are far apart on believing the allegations and whether an official investigation into the allegations should take place.

If these allegations are true, Amenya may face legal consequences, whether it be civil or criminal in the form of misrepresentation or fraud.
