The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has announced industrial attachment opportunities for both degree and diploma students.
In a notice dated Saturday, February 21, 2026, the Authority is seeking applications from continuing undergraduate students in their 3rd, 4th, or final year, as well as diploma students in their final year.
The attachment will run for three months (May to July 2026) as part of KRA’s Industrial Attachment Programme.
“Are you a student seeking real-world exposure in a dynamic and innovative public institution? We are offering industrial attachment opportunities across various departments to help you gain practical experience and sharpen your career edge,” read part of the notice.
According to the Authority, the programme aims to provide youth with practical experience in their respective fields, partially fulfilling the requirements of their degree or diploma programme.
Opportunities are open across various support services departments in disciplines including:
Finance & Business: Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Business Management, Project Management, Monitoring & Evaluation
Human & Social Sciences: Human Resource Management, Marketing & Communication, Communications, International Relations, Diplomacy, Public Relations, Media Studies, Counselling Psychology
Creative & Media Arts: Photography, Videography, Film Production, Animation
ICT & Technical: ICT, Telecommunications
Hospitality & Services: Food & Beverage, Hotel Management, Housekeeping and Laundry Management
Records & Libraries: Records Management, Records & Archives, Library & Information Science
Security & Law Enforcement: Security & Safety, Security Management, Criminology, Criminal Justice, Forensics, Law
Engineering & Technical Sciences: Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Land Economics, Property Management, Quantity Surveying, Transport & Logistics, Fleet Management

Must be a Kenyan citizen below 35 years of age.
Must be a continuing undergraduate student in their 3rd, 4th, or final year or a diploma student in their final year from a recognised university or college.
Must have a valid introduction letter from the university or college.
Must be available full-time for the three-month duration of the programme.
The deadline for applications is Friday, March 6, 2026.
All applications must be submitted online via the process outlined in the Application Guidelines.
Applicants must register on the KRA e-recruitment portal before applying.
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
The Authority does not extend the attachment programme.
Only selected candidates will be contacted.
KRA does not charge any fee for this process.
A monthly stipend of KSh 7,000 will be paid to both undergraduate and diploma students, subject to statutory deductions.
Selected candidates must submit proof of a valid Personal Accident Insurance Cover, copies of KRA PIN certificate, NHIF/SHIF, NSSF, ID card, and bank account details.

Go to https://erecruitment.kra.go.ke/login and click the ‘Register’ button.
Complete registration and confirm your email address.
Enter your username and password, then click ‘Log In’ to access your account.
After logging in, the system will open the ‘Applicant Cockpit’.
In the ‘Applicant Cockpit’, go to ‘Candidate Profile’.
Click ‘My Profile’ to create or update your details.
Follow the instructions and click ‘Overview and Release’ to complete your profile.
Ensure you check the confirmation box to finalise the profile.
In the ‘Applicant Cockpit’, click ‘Employment Opportunities’.
Under ‘Job Search’, click ‘Start’ to view all available vacancies.
Click the job posting to view position details.
Click ‘Apply’ to submit your application.
Complete all mandatory fields.
Review and accept the ‘Data Privacy Statement’, then click ‘Send Application Now’ to finalise.
