Affordable Housing Board Announces Career Opportunities: How to Apply

Affordable Housing has announced it is seeking qualified and competent professionals to join the Affordable Housing Board (AHB), a state corporation established under the Affordable Housing Act of 2024.

The Board operates within the State Department for Housing and Urban Development and is mandated to provide a framework for the development and access to affordable and institutional housing across Kenya.

“We are looking for skilled individuals to help us achieve our vision of providing affordable and sustainable housing solutions for all Kenyans,” said the Chairman of the Affordable Housing Board.

The Affordable Housing Board is inviting applications for 21 key positions across management, planning, finance, legal services, ICT, corporate communications, and human resources.

How to Apply

Interested candidates can access detailed job descriptions and requirements on the AHB website or the ACAL Consulting website.

Applications must be submitted online and include:

  • A cover letter
  • Copy of National ID
  • Detailed CV showing qualifications and experience
  • Copies of academic and professional certificates
  • Any other relevant supporting documents

“Applicants must ensure all information provided is accurate and truthful. Misleading information is an offense under the Public Officers Ethics Act, 2003,” cautioned the Board.

The deadline for applications is March 17, 2026, at 5 p.m. EAT.
