As the 2027 General Election draws closer, the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has intensified its Enhanced Continuous Voter Registration exercise.

For Nairobi residents, participation starts with knowing where to register. The Commission has set up centres across all 17 constituencies to make the process easy and accessible. Most of the centres are located within government offices and near familiar landmarks.

In the city centre, Starehe residents can register at Kenya Railways Block D, opposite the Technical University of Kenya.

In Roysambu, the registration point is at the Kahawa West Assistant County Commissioner’s office and the nearby police station. In Kasarani, residents can visit the former DCC offices near the Chief’s office. Mathare voters can register at the Mathare DCC Compound.

In Westlands, the registration centre is located at the DC Compound near the Safaricom Centre. Dagoretti North residents should head to Maliposa Apartments along Ngong Road, about four kilometres from Nakumatt Junction.

Dagoretti South voters can register at Maisha Poa Centre, about 200 metres from the DCC Office. In Kibra, the centre is at the DC offices next to the Huduma Centre.

Official Directives on the Exercise

Embakasi, due to its large population, has several registration points. In Embakasi East, residents can register at the East Africa School of Aviation. Embakasi West voters should visit the “Tena White House” near the Shell petrol station on Manyanja Road.

Embakasi Central residents can go to the DO’s Office in Kayole, while Embakasi South voters should head to Villa Franca, near Equity Afya Hospital.

In southern Nairobi, Lang’ata residents can register at the Sub-county Headquarters on Five Star Road. Makadara voters should visit the DCC Compound near the CIPU office, while Kamukunji residents can access services at the DCC Headquarters.

“Eligible Kenyans may register at any IEBC Constituency Office, except in areas currently with by-elections. Services available include new voter registration, transfer of voter registration to a new location, correction or update of voter details, and inspection of voter registration status. This exercise is a vital step in ensuring every eligible Kenyan has the opportunity to participate in shaping the country’s future.” The Officials said.
