President William Ruto and several Cabinet Secretaries have made fresh appointments across multiple government institutions.
In a Gazette Notice dated Friday, March 27, 2026, President Ruto appointed Kosiom Frank Ole Kibelekenya as an Ambassador within the Foreign Service of the Republic of Kenya.
“In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 132(2)(e) of the Constitution, I, William Samoei Ruto, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Forces, appoint Kosiom Frank Ole Kibelekenya as an Ambassador within the Foreign Service of the Republic of Kenya,” read part of the notice.
Elsewhere, Health Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale made several appointments across key health parastatals.
Duale appointed Riyak Ahmed Mohamed and Dr. Zablon Mokua as members of the Board of Directors at the Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital for a period of three years, effective March 27, 2026.
He also reappointed Catherine Kathure Samwel and appointed Nazim Jiwa Mitha and David Kipchirchir Rotich to the Kenyatta National Hospital board.

Roads and Transport Cabinet Secretary Davis Chirchir appointed Peter Kibe Maina and Kenneth Limo Toroitich to the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) Board of Directors.
Meanwhile, Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eric Mugaa appointed Beatrice Kanuthu Muchina as a board member of the Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency, revoking the appointment of Faith Wanjiru Wachira.
