Naibei’s Son Breaks Silence on Claims of Singer Guardian Angel Grabbing Inheritance from Mother

Share

The Naibei family has issued an official statement to address the ongoing debate surrounding the administration of the late Erick Kiptanui Naibei’s estate, aiming to clarify misconceptions and defend the reputation of their mother, Esther Musila.

The statement comes amid heightened social media speculation and public discussion over the family’s legal proceedings.

Following Erick Naibei’s passing in 2016, the family lawfully undertook the succession process. Letters of administration were issued, appointing Esther Musila as the head administrator, with the children as beneficiaries.

The estate comprised shares, real estate, and substantial cash holdings across multiple bank accounts.

Background Story

Soon after, disputes arose when the eldest son, Gideon Mallan Naibei, challenged his mother’s role. He opposed several decisions, including Esther’s remarriage to gospel singer Guardian Angel, and argued that since all beneficiaries were adults, the estate should either be jointly managed or distributed to ensure fair access for each child.

In her defense, Esther Musila alleged that Gideon was a drug addict, claiming he was unfit to manage his inheritance or participate in the administration of the estate.

This allegation became central to the dispute. However, after thorough assessments, the court dismissed the claim, finding no evidence of drug abuse and determining that Gideon was of sound mind, employed, and fully capable of managing his affairs.

Glenn Naibei Responds

In a statement, Glenn Naibei emphasized that the family’s succession processes were lawful and transparent.

“This process was conducted in accordance with the law and with full transparency,” he said, directly countering social media claims suggesting mismanagement or exclusion.

Glenn refuted reports that Esther had been disinherited or lost rights to family property.

“We would like to state clearly and unequivocally that these claims are false. There has been no disinheritance of our mother at any point,” he stated, emphasizing that court proceedings and administrative adjustments were routine legal mechanisms, not indications of familial conflict.

Addressing Allegations Against Guardian Angel

The statement also addressed accusations directed at Esther Musila’s husband, gospel singer Guardian Angel.

Glenn strongly dismissed any suggestions that he was pursuing family property or harbored ulterior motives.

“Any suggestions that he has ulterior motives or is pursuing family property are baseless, malicious, and untrue,” Glenn confirmed, highlighting the need to protect his mother’s family integrity.

He affirmed the family’s commitment to transparency and fairness in all estate matters, assuring that the rights of all beneficiaries remain protected.
