Nakuru County Announces Jobs in 3 Departments: How to Apply

The Nakuru County Public Service Board has advertised job vacancies across three departments and invited qualified candidates to apply before May 6, 2026.

In a public notice, the board listed positions in the Office of the County Attorney, the Department of Education, ICT, E-Government and Public Communication, and the Department of Health Services.

The recruitment drive includes senior legal roles, ICT officers, communication specialists, and a large intake of youth polytechnic instructors.

Nakuru County Recruitment Process

Under the County Attorney’s office, the board seeks to fill four positions, including one County Attorney, two Senior Legal Officers, two Legal Officers I, and two Legal Officers II.

In the education and ICT department, the board listed many openings, including five ICT Officer I positions, one Public Communication Officer II, eight ICT Officer III roles, and four Public Communication Officer III slots.

The largest share of vacancies falls under youth polytechnics, where the county plans to recruit 66 Instructor III officers, showing a major push to strengthen vocational training.

In the health sector, the board also advertised one position for a Radiographer I.

How to Apply

The board directed interested applicants to submit their applications online through the official county recruitment portal.

It emphasized that candidates must meet all job requirements outlined in the detailed descriptions available on the website.

“Applications should be submitted on or before 6th May 2026. Hand-delivered or email applications will NOT be accepted,” the notice stated.

The board warned applicants against fraudsters, stressing its zero-tolerance stance on corruption.

It cautioned that it will not take responsibility for any losses incurred through illegal dealings or individuals promising to influence the recruitment process.

Officials further stated that any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification, adding that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

The recruitment comes as Nakuru County continues efforts to strengthen service delivery by boosting staffing levels in key sectors, particularly education, ICT, and healthcare.
