Boda Boda Rider Stabbed to Death After Dispute With Passengers

Police in Ololulunga, Narok South, have launched investigations into the brutal killing of a 26-year-old boda boda rider who was stabbed to death following a dispute with passengers in the Olepolos area.

The shocking incident, which occurred on April 21, 2026, evening, has once again highlighted the risks faced by boda boda operators, many of whom work late hours with limited security.

Confirming the incident, Narok County Police Commander Patrick Lobolia said the deceased had picked up three passengers at Oloshapani at around 7:30 pm while heading home.

According to the police, trouble began after the group reached the Olepolos area, when one of the passengers reportedly fell off the motorcycle.

“Upon reaching Olepolos, one of the passengers reportedly fell off the motorcycle, leading to an argument between the rider and one of the passengers,” said Lobolia.

What started as a routine journey quickly escalated into a violent confrontation between the rider and one of the passengers.

Rider Fatally Stabbed During Confrontation

During the heated exchange, the suspect allegedly attacked the rider with a knife, stabbing him multiple times on the left side of the chest, arm, and back.

Police said the injuries proved fatal, and the rider died on the spot before the suspect fled the scene.

“During the confrontation, the suspect allegedly stabbed the rider on the left side of the chest, arm, and back, killing him on the spot,” Lobolia added.
