ODM Party leader Oburu Odinga has issued a reflective message on unity and cohesion within the party, a statement widely interpreted as an indirect appeal to party leaders amid growing internal debates over ODM’s future direction.

Although he did not mention any individuals, the message comes at a time when ODM has been experiencing internal political tensions involving different leadership alignments.

In his message shared on X on May 3, 2026, Oburu emphasized the importance of unity, urging leaders to rise above personal interests for the sake of the party and the country.

“Our strength has always been our diversity, but that strength is only realized when we embrace each other. We can disagree on policy without ever disregarding our shared purpose and humanity,” he said.
