Sikri College Advertises Job Opportunities: How to Apply

Sikri Technical and Vocational College for the Blind and Deaf has advertised 10 job vacancies in various departments.

In a public notice released on May 5, 2026, Sikri is calling for applications from qualified candidates in order to fill positions across various departments.

Sikri is a public Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) college that operates under the Ministry of Education and is guided by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Act No. 29 of 2013.

According to the advertisement, a total of ten vacancies have been advertised in different departments.

Vacant Positions

These include one position for a Laboratory Technician, one Agricultural Engineering Technician, and one Kenyan Sign Language Interpreter.

The college has also announced two vacancies for Administrative Clerks.

In addition, one position has been advertised for an Accountant, while two vacancies are also advertised for Assistant Supply Chain/Procurement Officers.

Sikri is also hiring one Human Resource Officer and one Production Unit Coordinator.

Requirements

Each position has been assigned a reference number, ranging from STVCBD/2026/001 to STVCBD/2026/008, as indicated in the notice.

The advert says that applicants are required to submit an application letter together with a detailed curriculum vitae.

The CV should outline academic qualifications, professional certifications, work experience, and membership to relevant professional bodies where applicable.

Additional Documents

The application should also include valid email addresses, telephone contacts, copies of academic and professional certificates, a national identification document, and other relevant documents.

The college stated that it is an equal opportunity employer and encouraged applications from all qualified individuals.

This includes youth, persons living with disabilities, and those from marginalized communities.

Application Deadline

Interested applicants are directed to visit Sikri’s website for further details regarding the vacancies and requirements.

The notice highlights that all applications must be received on or before 5:00 p.m. on May 15, 2026, which is the deadline.

Submissions are required to be addressed to the Principal or the Board of Governors’ Secretary at the Sikri postal address in Oyugis.

The notice further indicated that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
