Content creator and influencer Grace Mwai has announced that her marriage to Hiram Maina has come to an end.
In a public statement shared on her social media platforms, Mwai said the decision to part ways was reached after reflection and mutual understanding, noting that both she and Hiram had handled the transition with respect, maturity, and consideration.
“After much reflection and mutual understanding, I would like to share that my marriage ended and I have since been navigating our lives independently,” she said.
The couple got engaged in 2022 and has been facing criticism because of their age difference. Hiram is younger than Mwai, and netizens were saying that they will not manage because of that.

Mwai emphasised in the statement that they remain grateful for the journey they shared and the support they received from those around them during their marriage.
Despite the separation, Mwai reaffirmed that her belief in the sanctity of marriage and her Christian faith remains unchanged.
She stated that she continues to hold onto the biblical values of marriage and God’s purpose for it, even as she acknowledges that life journeys sometimes unfold differently from expectations.
“My commitment to Christ, His calling upon my life, and serving His people remains steadfast,” she said in the statement, adding that she is trusting God for guidance through what she said is a painful and emotional season.
