Huduma Kenya Announces Nationwide Service Disruption

Huduma Kenya has announced a temporary disruption of services across all Huduma Centres following a power outage that affected its data centre.
In a notice dated June 15, 2026, Huduma kenya said the outage has led to the suspension of services, affecting public access to various government services offered at its centres nationwide.
The agency argued that the interruption was caused by a power failure at its main data centre in Nakuru, which supports the operations of Huduma Centres across the country.
As a result, customers seeking services at the centres have been temporarily unable to access services.
“Huduma Kenya wishes to inform the public that services are temporarily unavailable at Huduma Centres due to a power outage that affected our data centre,” read part of the notice.
Huduma Kenya Working to Restore Services After Outage
Huduma Kenya also confirmed that its technical teams are currently working to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.

The agency assured the public that efforts are ongoing to resolve the issue and bring services back online.
It further apologised for the inconvenience caused by the disruption and thanked members of the public for their patience while restoration work continues.
“Our technical teams are working to restore services as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience,” the agency stated.
Among the affected service points are Huduma Contact and the Tele-Counselling Centre.
Services Affected During the Disruption
The disruption comes weeks after the agency announced intermittent service disruptions affecting several of its centres across the country.

In a notice on Monday, April 20, Huduma kenya said the interruptions had affected its contact and tele-counselling operations as well as services at some physical centres
The agency said efforts were underway to resolve the issue and restore normal operations as soon as possible.
“We are working diligently to restore services as quickly as possible to ensure you continue receiving efficient and reliable service. Thank you for your patience and understanding,” the notice added.
