How to Get KRA Compliance Certificate
Share
A Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) is an official document issued by the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) to confirm that a taxpayer has met their tax obligations.
The certificate shows that a taxpayer has filed all required tax returns and paid any taxes due.
It is often required when applying for jobs, government tenders, work permit renewals, liquor licences, clearing and forwarding licences, or when confirming tax compliance status.
A Tax Compliance Certificate remains valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
New Requirement for Tax Compliance Certificates
