“Passengers could rebook themselves onto the next best flight at no additional cost. The service puts an end to queue times on call centres, empowering passengers to take ownership of their plans,” KQ stated.

Four steps are laid out on Kenya Airways’ website if you wish to change your flight reservation.

First, go to the Self-Rebooking Portal on Kenya Airways’ website; here, you need to enter your booking reference and your last name to retrieve the reservation.

The portal will search alternative flight schedules according to your plans, enabling you to select your alternate departure.

Once a booking is made, change it via the Self-Rebooking portal.

Kenya Airways says no further payment will be required to change your flight date.
