Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Requirements for Contractors’ Annual Practice Licenses

In addition, the regulator noted the need for CPD training for contractors applying for an annual practice licence.

Contractors should have attended training programs in the 2025/2026 financial year.

Those who have not attended such programs should acquire 10 CPD points by participating in an NCA or NCA-approved seminar.

“The Authority also would like to remind that contractors who do not happen to have trained during 2025/2026 are required by law to accrue 10 CPD points,” said NCA.

In the notice, it also added that contractors can view the training schedule & registration details through the official website of the authority.

The NCA confirmed that the CPD requirement is set under Regulation 14 of the NCA Regulations 2014, which outlines the professional development duties of contractors present in the country.
