Sophia Lucas has accused Kenyan actress Sandra Dacha of allegedly taking her to a suspected “mganga” (witch doctor) and organizing fundraising from her friends for alleged prayer sessions that cost thousands of shillings.

In a video posted on her Facebook page on Saturday, July 11, 2026, Sophia shared her experience in detail and directly named Dacha as the person who introduced her to the spiritual practitioner.

“I posted last week that I would one day share my testimony of how a friend took me to a mganga. So guys, I will mention her name. The person who took me to a mganga was Sandra Dacha,” she claimed.

She explained that the events unfolded after a difficult period in her life following rehab and a separation from her husband. At that point, she said the actress offered her a place to stay, but later proposed spiritual intervention.

“She told me, that there is this person I want to take you to, and it’s KSh 15,000 per prayer session.’ She said it would be Ksh 45,000 for three sessions,” Sophia explained.

Sandra Dacha Allegedly Opened WhatsApp Group to Raise Funds

Additionally, Sophia claimed that Dacha created a WhatsApp group without her consent to raise the money.

“Sandra Dacha opened a WhatsApp group with my friends. The intention was for them to contribute money so she could take it to that ‘prayer person,’” she said.

When she met the alleged mganga, Sophia said the man made unusual claims about her life and also claimed that a relative had bewitched her.

“He told me, ‘Madam, uko na nyota (you have a star/special destiny),’” she recalled.

“He said I had been bewitched by my aunt, who allegedly handed me over on my wedding day,” she added.

Description of Mukuru Visit and Ritual

Meanwhile, Sophia described how the visit took place in Mukuru under unsettling conditions.

“He told me, ‘Lala kama maiti (lie like a dead person), assume you are in a casket,’” she said, describing the instructions she received inside a dark, smoke-filled room.

After the session, Sophia said she began experiencing troubling changes.

“Long story short, I started having bad dreams… nikaanza kuota watoto wangu wamekufa (I began dreaming that my children had died),” she said.

She also linked similar experiences to others she claimed visited the same practitioner.

“Mora was supposed to pay Ksh 15,000 but gave only Ksh 1,000, and he claimed he knew Mora’s child would die,” she alleged.

In addition, she mentioned another individual, Mishidora, and claimed her condition worsened after visiting the same person.

Fallout After Refusing Second Session

However, Sophia said the situation escalated after she refused to attend a second session after visiting a doctor who warned her.

“The doctor told me, ‘Madam, run for your life!’” Sophia alleged.

In conclusion, Sophia urged others to remain cautious when approached with similar arrangements.

By the time of publication, Sandra Dacha had not publicly responded to the claims.
