Journalist Mark Bichachi has asked for financial assistance to cover for medical bills.

In a notice titled “Help Bichachi get better”, the family said Bichachi was diagnosed in 2020.

The family said there were medical interventions which led to more health complications not covered by medical insurance.

“It’s been a gruelling journey since Mark’s 2022 diagnosis, where medical interventions result to more health issues whose remedies are not covered by medical insurance,” reads part of the notice.

“The Bichachi family would like to request your assistance in raising funds towards helping Mark cope with the medical expenses. PAYBILL: 891300 and ACCOUNT: 124619.”

Mark Bichachi appeared briefly at Spice FM’s morning show “Hot Seat” after veteran journalist Eric Latiff left the Standard Media Group back in January 2025.
