Diamond’s Ex Zari Surprises Zuchu With Video Call Days After Welcoming Her Baby

Zari Hassan, Diamond Platnumz’s ex-partner, surprised the singer and his partner, Zuchu, with a heartwarming video call, congratulating them on the birth of their newborn daughter.

In a clear show of maturity, the Ugandan socialite set aside any expectations of tension and reached out to both Diamond and Zuchu.

During the call, Zari’s daughter, Princess Tifah, whom she shares with Diamond, joined in to warmly welcome her new sibling. She excitedly revealed that she had always wished for a baby sister.

“I’m so done with boys,” she said playfully, expressing her excitement and joy.

However, she also admitted that she felt a little nervous about stepping into the role of a big sister again.

“Are you ready for a baby sister?” Zuchu asked Tifah

“She’s like, I don’t know, I’m nervous,” Zari Hassan told Zuchu.

At the same time, Zuchu stepped in to comfort Tifah, highlighting the special bond she would soon enjoy.

“You’re gonna have a partner to talk to. Yeah,” she said, encouraging her to embrace the moment.

Meanwhile, Zari openly shared her excitement about the new addition, reflecting on earlier conversations that she is done having kids.

“Yeah, and I’m so happy because remember I told her I’m done with this business,” she said.

Blended Family Shows Unity Despite The Past

Although Zari and Diamond ended their relationship in 2018, they continue to co-parent their two children; Princess Tifah and Prince Nillan.

At the same time, the birth of the baby girl marks a major milestone for Zuchu and Diamond, as it is their first child together.

Even before the baby’s arrival, the couple had already captured public attention during their lavish baby shower and gender reveal; Diamond gifted Zuchu KSh 78 million.

Relationship Challenges

However, the couple’s journey has not been without its challenges as Zuchu announced on Instagram on July 12, 2026, that she and Diamond Platnumz had separated to focus on her health, healing and career.

Still, the pregnancy and the birth of their baby girl appear to signal a fresh chapter for the pair, who have also worked closely together on multiple hit songs under Diamond’s WCB Wasafi record label, where Zuchu remains one of the label’s biggest stars.
