KDF Announces Shortlisted Candidates for 2025 Recruitment: How to Check

The Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) has announced the shortlist of candidates for General Service Officer (GSO) Cadets, Specialist Officers, and Tradesmen and Women positions, inviting them for interviews and selection beginning next month.

According to a notice published by KDF, the shortlisted applicants will report to designated training centers on specific dates for their interviews.

The GSO Cadet (Graduate) candidates are expected to report to the Kenya Military Academy in Lanet, Nakuru, on Monday, November 24, 2025, while the GSO Cadet (Regular) candidates will report to the same venue on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Specialist Officers will also report to the Kenya Military Academy, Lanet, on Monday, December 8, 2025, whereas Tradesmen and Women are required to report to the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Langata, Nairobi, on Monday, November 3, 2025.

All sessions are scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.

Candidates have been instructed to carry their original National Identification Card (ID), academic and professional certificates, curriculum vitae, and testimonials, along with four photocopies of each.

How to Check KDF List

KDF said food and accommodation will be provided during the interview period, and unsuccessful candidates will be reimbursed for travel expenses as per military regulations. Applicants are also advised to carry warm clothing.

KDF stated that the recruitment process is free, fair, and open to all eligible applicants.

“Engaging in bribery or any form of corruption to influence the recruitment process is a criminal offence,” the notice stated.

The Defence Forces further warned that anyone found guilty of recruitment-related malpractice would be arrested and prosecuted.

The public is encouraged to report any cases of corruption or fraud during the recruitment process to the nearest police station, military camp, or through hotline numbers 0726419706 or 0726419709.
