Terence Creative Kneels to Ask Milly Chebby for Second Child in Viral Video

A viral video of Kenyan comedian Terence Creative kneeling before his wife, Milly Chebby, and asking for a second child has sparked mixed reactions among Kenyans online.

The moment occurred during the Mataha Experience Festival over the weekend, where Terence got down on one knee on stage and made the request in front of the audience.

“I want to ask you, before these people, will you give me another baby? Thank you,” Terence said.

Kenyans React to Terence Creative’s Baby Plea

Following the request, the moment quickly circulated online, prompting different reactions from Kenyans, with some finding the gesture amusing while others questioned the decision to make such a personal request publicly.

Mary Njoroge was among those who reacted to the viral moment, joking about Terence’s decision to kneel while asking his wife for another child.

“The kind of drama in this country is too much hahhaah, so men nowadays are kneeling to plead with their wives to give them a baby? Terence Creative knelt at the Mataha festival that happened during the weekend, persuading his wife to give him a second born,” she wrote.

Njoroge questioned whether matters concerning having children should be handled privately, describing the public gesture as part of what she viewed as changing relationship dynamics.

Others took a different view, suggesting that men should be willing to make an effort when asking their partners to have another child.

Njeri Wagathima jokingly suggested that a man should go as far as formally explaining why he wants another child.

“Actually nafeel they should beg kuzalia mwanaume haifai kuwa fwaaaa, anafaa ady aandike email with reasons why I should give him a child,” she wrote.

Some focused on the cameras surrounding the couple during the moment, suggesting that the public nature of the interaction could have been influenced by content creation.

MaryJ questioned why content creators would not record such moments when they could potentially generate views and revenue online. As another Kenyan, Itz suggested that the moment was part of content creation.

“Watu wamezoea kutembea na cameras kila kitu hufanywa tu kwa cameras. Wakikumbuka inaeza generate views pale YouTube wapate some dollars mbona wasirecord? Those are content creators for you,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Naomi Waithira shifted the conversation towards the physical demands of pregnancy and childbirth, noting that women go through significant experiences when carrying and delivering children.

“A woman goes through a serious process when pregnant and giving birth, kama huna nguvu please wacha tu,” she wrote.

Terence Creative and Milly Chebby already have one child together, while Terence also has two other children from a previous relationship.
